Daniel Shipp is a Sydney-based photographer specialising in gardens and designed landscapes. With extensive experience photographing stories for The Planthunter and Wonderground across Australia and internationally, he understands how to translate the atmosphere and intent of a landscape into strong, communicative imagery.
His work helps designers, architects, and publications present their projects with clarity and visual impact. Known for working simply and efficiently, Daniel combines natural light and composition with a fine-art sensibility to create photographs that feel alive and evocative.
He has photographed two books: The House and Garden at Glenmore (Murdoch Books, 2017) and The Planthunter:Truth, Beauty, Chaos and Plants (Thames & Hudson, 2018), alongside contributions to numerous leading publications dedicated to gardens and design.
